About Me
I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics from
Rutgers University - New Brunswick in May 2011. I was also a post-doctoral
research associate both at Rutgers and The University of Cologne in Germany
from 2011 through 2014. My research interests lie in the
areas of Mathematical Physics, Kinetic Theory, Statistical Mechanics,
Electrodynamics, and General Relativity. My thesis work was carried out
under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Michael Kiessling and concerned the
relativistic Vlasov-Poisson system (a pseudo-relativistic model of a
plasma interacting with its self-induced Newtonian gravitational
field).
