About Me
I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics from Rutgers University–New Brunswick in May 2011, and was a post-doctoral research associate at both Rutgers and the University of Cologne in Germany from 2011 through 2014. My research interests lie in the areas of mathematical physics, kinetic theory, statistical mechanics, electrodynamics, and general relativity. My thesis work was carried out under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Michael Kiessling and concerned the relativistic Vlasov–Poisson system — a pseudo-relativistic model of a plasma interacting with its own self-induced Newtonian gravitational field.
More recently, I completed an M.S. in Data Science at Fordham University, and my interests have expanded to include machine learning — particularly Bayesian nonparametric methods and topological data analysis.
At Wilkes, I teach across the mathematics and data science curricula and serve as co-chair of the university's Middle States (MSCHE) accreditation self-study. You can find my publications on the Papers page and my full academic history on my C.V.
